Jordan Frankos is a 9 year old 3rd grader on the Principal’s List at Linkhorn Park Math & Science Academy.  She is also in the Gifted Dance Pull-out Program one day a week at Old Donation Center for Gifted & Talented.  This Virginia Beach native is an avid vocalist as well as a musical theatre buff; her future plans include becoming a famous singer and hopes to one day be Miss Virginia. Jordan has given back to her community by participating in the Freedom Walk, Relay for Life, Toys for Tots toy drives and numerous other philanthropic organizations. Recently she won the Talent Award and the title of Junior Miss Norfolk 2008, part of the Miss Norfolk Scholarship Program – an official preliminary to Miss VA & Miss America. 

Jordan has a passion for Leukemia research and is busy promoting her platform, Pennies for Patients.  She is in the process of getting her school signed on for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society School Youth Program.  You can learn more about this and other initiatives under “Programs” at www.schoolandyouth.org.

 

Lizzy Mothershead is a fifth grade student at St Patrick's Catholic School.  She is ten years old and loves swimming, singing and playing the piano . She has performed in several Hurrah Player's plays. Her favorites are Tom Sawyer and Seusical, The Musical.  She also performed in Carmen with the Virginia Opera in 2007.  She is very excited to be a princess for Ashley because she has gone to several pageants and has been a fan for some time.
